A Belated Merry Christmas and early new year resolution

Hello everybody!
A slightly late Merry Christmas to you all, and am posting to say, well, no news is no news on the zine front I'm afraid! Ziney projects were put to one side to do christmas knitting (all relatively stingy!) but now I can get back to them, although i am still meant to be studying (oh I'm so good at procrastinating!)
I've joined Stashalong as part of a new-year yarn diet.  You're meant to use up your stash and not buy any new... I'm waiting for a couple of ebay purchases to arrive and I'm making them my last until I've completed my goal! So am being uber-stingy really! I'm going for the option whee you finish a certain number of projects before you buy any more wool, since I have so many on the go!

Got a knitting book for christmas too... Fast knits on Fat Needles which appears to consist entirely of 'stingyable' projects, woohoo! Some of the yarns used in the book are definitely not stingy, but the whole attitude of it is more 'use what you like' than most knitting books, which is what we want!

Anyway, enough wittering, I'm off

Byeee!

Hat Challenge part nine million

Shame on me, I didn't get organised in time to send the hats to China, but Feed The Children have said thet'll be more than welcome, so they will be posted off on Saturday!
If any of the remaining hat challenge people still have work to do, that's ok... all I ask is you send me photos and a pattern when you're done, and donate the finished hat to a charity.... even taking it to a charity shop will do!

clovecigarettes and narnie83 : Do either of you have any objections to me posting your pics and patterns here in the interim before I get the full zine together?

Hello Stingybods!

Stingyknits is still 'alive', but i've just moved house, and started an MA no long ago, and work's hectic, hence the quietness.

I'm having a partial break from being a one-woman hat factory, and instead of charity hats, i have the following on the go...

*The two stashbusting stripy jumpers
*Hats for christmas presents for two friends babies
*Jimi Hendrix... currently body is finished but not sewn up or stuffed yet, hair is about a third done, and jacket and scarf have been cast on. Now how do i knit a guitar?

(Hatchallengers, the address is the same for posting stuff, I can still pick my post up from my last address.)
